Being a member of the Horticultural Society entitles you to the following:

1. Admission to our monthly speaker meetings for a $2 admission fee. There are 10 monthly meetings where you can enjoy listening to the highest of quality speakers.
2. A discount is offered on all PLANT purchases at the following local nurseries, upon presentation of your membership card.

3. Participation in plant display competitions.
   • Each monthly meeting there is a competition for Best Pot Plant, Bunch of Flowers, Single Bloom, vegetables and a trophy for aggregate points winner is given at the end of year.
   • Competitive Flower Show held in March where there is over 100 categories in which you may enter.
4. Participation in our social events held throughout the year. Refer to your Syllabus for dates.
5. Free admission to open gardens run by the horticultural society, upon presentation of your membership card.
6. The society has an extensive library and all members are able to borrow books so long as they return them by the next meeting.
7. Membership fee is only $20.00 single, $30.00 Family & $50 Corporate.
